I don't have the Fall big book, but I don't think you've lost your mind. I swear I think they must have fired their old "stylists" and hired hipper buyers, because they benn having stuff I like. I started going back there when I was in a desperate search for an ivory cami (before they were EVERYWHERE) and was surprised that it wasn't my mom's JCPenney. I also noticed that a few members here (meow for sure, not sure who else) get things from there all the time & they always look so great - I'm glad to see it.

I must confess that I adore JCP. I just got their fall catalog, too, and I am excited about the new styles of pants they have. It used to be that they only made those that came up to your waist, but I saw some lower waisted ones in their catalog. They are also alot cheaper than Express, although I do love Express Correspondents. I am in the process of going through and marking what I love (maybe we can share notes

). There is a JCP in the town where I work, but they don't have alot. However, there is one about 1.5 hrs away from me that has everything the catalog has. I am seeing a trip to it as soon as my shopping ban is over.

I'll admit it too. I use to turn my nose up at that place but they have some cute stuff in their "contemporary" department. I definetly will be keeping my eyes on the ad papers since they have cute stuff.

No, I don't think you've lost your mind. They definitely have some cute stuff in JCPenney now. They have a partnership with Nicole Miller and her stuff there is the cutest! I have a few things for spring/summer that I bought there and I get compliments every time I wear them. Definitely not our mothers' JCPenney.
