uh... yeah... stylethread? over 600? more than any other site we know of? do you guys ever visit any part of the site besides the forum? go to www.stylethread.com (or click our logo in the upper left) select "shopping toolbox" and our shopping site database is there.  I'm not posting a direct link to it because you guys need to visit the rest of the site! You obviously don't know what you're missing!

I just want to make it clear that I thought Cortney was asking about sites other than this one, which is why I suggested reesycakes.com.

I just wanted to hop on the bandwagon and say that I LOVE this site!  There is nothing like it.  I don't even visit any other sites.  I like to read the features every month and I think this forum is great!  I like the sense of community we have.  I like that there is not as much anonymity and turnover as other sites.  Many of the people I have been chatting with on here I have been chatting with for about 2 years now.  I have gotten some really valuable advice here about fashion, beauty, dating, career, and just life in general.  The girls who write the features are way more creative that I could ever be.  I like that their fashion ideas are always wearable in real life.  Good job everyone!

Nobody ever understands   I am not lazy to click a few links to find a damn list (which I never even knew existed on this website)!  I just don't want to sift through the list and look on every website to see that it is not what I was looking for.  I was asking for specific websites that have AFFORDABLE clothing (like tops that are nice but don't cost $200), not a whole list of every online store imaginable.  I thought maybe somebody else has a website they would like to share, and others would appreciate a new place to shop online .    But now my post is ruined with nasty snotty comments (I can read through the lines)

Cortney, please understand that no one was trying to be catty to you.  Maybe you just haven't been around these forums long enough, but everyone here has a sense of community and we all try to 'protect' that.  You came in here like a whirlwind and made several catty comments of your own that put everyone on edge and made us distrustful of you.  You obviously weren't around for a rather horrendously catty incident where some of us were targeted (myself included) so we don't take too kindly to someone who seems the least bit catty.  Please try to be a little more tactful when posting here.  Thanks.

point taken, and it makes sense.  the thing to remember is that it's hard to decipher tone in a forum. when i read your post i was just like whatever. her question has already been asked and answered and she's just "too lazy" to bother finding the answer. i was not in the best mood when i responded (i actually deleted another post i wrote prior to my response to yours.), and a part of me actually wanted to delete my response to your post too.

i seriously didn't intend for it to turn into this big of a deal. but as i said in my post, as someone who contributes to the rest of the site, it's really frustrating to hear that people don't bother looking at the rest of the site, and you just happened to be the first to voice that sentiment, so you bore the brunt of my wrath. anyway i will try not to respond to posts when my brain is too fried from the humidity to think straight.

Corteney's past posts aside, she did ask a specific question.  While the database here is great (thank you!), one might not know the price range of every site listed.  There are quite a few on the list that I've never heard of.  It WOULD take quite awhile to go to every site listed, check their merchandise to see if you can afford it, and move on to the next one (if you had never heard of the site).  I thought she had a valid question.
