Mist Three-Quarter-Sleeve Velvet Jacket


I bought this at Nordies on Friday and seriously, it's so cool in real life. I'd wear it open and not buttoned but man it looks good with almost everything. Unfortunately, (sob) I'm on the shopping ban so I'm taking it back but I had to share it's beauty with you girls.

That is really nice.  I love it, but I'm on the ban too.  Fortunately, I think there will be tons of velvet blazers around this fall.  I'm sure it won't be hard to find a cool one when your ban ends.

Y'all are all evil!!! I'm supposed to take it back today. I have it in the bag staring at me. It's so freaking cute! But let's be rational, I won't be able to wear it for another three months, at least, so what's the point?


Of course, I do have a rehearsal dinner to go to in October... it might be perfect for that. Her colors are tiffany blue and brown... it would look really fab. I'm going to go crazy. I'll weigh my pros and cons maybe...

I don't know what happened to my long rant, but here is the recap:

The point is that when you want it in the fall, it will be gone in your size & you will be sad sad sad. I hate to make you break your ban AGAIN, but dang you already have it!!! How much? This may be nosy, but can you afford it? Did you charge it? I am just saying - it's real cute.....Gosh i feel like such the enabler...

Rehearsal dinner in Oct? THIS IS PERFECT! Honestly! It'll be cold enough soon, w/a tank under it.

I ordered online (in the color you pictured (gold?)) - it's yet to arrive... I'll give a review when I get it.  I also ordered this jacket (think I'll be set with velvet jackets this fall )

Oh detroit, I love that green one! I love green anyway, and have both pink and green blazers on my list of things to buy, so I may have to break down and get that green. It's beautiful.

I have only one velvet blazer - black - so I think a couple more in jewel-y colors can't hurt. *s*
