i thought i'd put together a list of items i want for fall. most things are casual as i'll be headed to college, though i want to look both put together and be comfortable. anything i should add? what are you guys planning to buy for fall?

haha, I need to STOP shopping, my closet and wallet can't take anymore.  I want :


a lace shirt from Anthro- already know which one, but I'm waiting til the 25th (cc clears)- it is sleeveless and stretch lace with buttons down the back, cream colored, $98


grey military button pants from Bebe- $118, IF they fit well, will be available in august


tan basic pants


maybe tweed trousers or dressy pants (the publicists?  I don't own a single pair of dress pants)- this is only if I get a serious job, haha


maybe these for work, in teal:



another pair of jeans


pencil or fitted skirt


slouchy warm cardigan


nice purse! will spend up to $500, but waiting til more fall bags come out


another nice sweater


winter wool jacket

so many things, so little cash. these are the things i definitely getting


*mackage black coat


*leather bag, i'm still searching for the perfect one, but i know i'll find it


*cropped jacket -- saw one i really like at rave that i'm going to pick up next weekend


*round toe boots in brown and another color, currently watching 2 pairs on ebay


*cardigans -- the gap has a style that i like. i'm trying to hold out until they have a f&f sale, which i think they should have soon


*a couple of cashmere sweaters -- trying to upgrade my sweater collection


*new jeans -- will probably pick up from revolve


*printed tops -- almost all my tops are solid and it's kind of boring. of the 4 non-solid tops i have, i think only one is not a stripe


*theory tara pants for work -- want to add gray & camel, well i had camel ones i shrunk them b/c i was too cheap to take them to the dry cleaner, bad idea. these i'll probably get in november


i'm also considering the following


*sweater coat -- i have 2, but i saw some at urbn that i like


*vest -- still figuring out what i'd pair it with that won't look costumey

Fall is still a LONG way away here, but I want...


-Express editors in either a light grey or brown...I will probably buy these soon, because I want the summer fabric (it does not get cold enough here for wool).


-some cool cardigans...probably from Anthro or Urban. I get a lot of use out of cardigans, so I am going to be buying more, though I'd like them to be somewhat more interesting than my current collection. I like these, but I am not sure I will end up with them:


nottingham hoodie cardiganlido deck cardiganhenny-penny cardiganLux Short Sleeve Ruffle Surplice


-grey cashmere crewneck (if I can find the right one)


-short-sleeved sweater in teal, to wear under blazers.


-another cashmere turtleneck...if Express does them again, I will probably get one of those because I LOVE the one I have.


-closed-toe wedges. Haven't found the right ones yet, though.


-knee-high, low-heeled brown suede boots that fit my leg. I am sure this is a pipe-dream, though.


-a leather or faux-leather messenger in color (not black or brown). Will buy this soon for school.


 


PS - Honey: One of my mom's friends said Gap's F&F is the first or second week in August. It's like the 4-8 or 8-10 or something. HTH.

I have been thinking of nothing but my fall wardrobe!  I have already purchased a few things.  Here is an outfit without pants (maybe brown?) that I think work together.

Hmm I want half of what is in the Limited right now which is all the new fall clothes!!


Actually I have a list of stuff I need so I'm going to try to stick with it and add a few fun things in.


I need new jeans that fit!


Brown pants (always a need)


Gray pants


Nice cardigans for church and work


Some decent quality sweaters.  I'm so tired of my Express sweaters pilling after 1 month of wear!!

Nice purse - would love pucci but probably will settle for coach.  It'll be my first real purse though


New sneakers for running on the treadmill

I haven't started my fall shopping yet b/c it's way hot here in California and I'm going out of the country so I hope I find *something* there (much, much cheaper to buy clothes there). Here's my list:

+fitted blue blazer
+[long] white oxford shirt
+fitted, solid cardigan

That's all I have on the list right now. It's very... school uniformish but I love simple, solid colored clothing and they're awesome basics. Things like slacks, jeans and stuff are easy to find so I don't put it on the list.

-pointytoe, kitten heel boots in brown, caramel or camel


-thin sweaters for layering over shirts or a sweatervest


-cute flats, I liked the velvet ON ones from this month's Lucky


-bright blazer, maybe teal or burnt orange?


-military style jacket w/mandarin collar


-blousy top, there was a cute printed one in Lucky also from ON


-new pair of Pumas

i've already started to acquire some items for fall, which is unusual for me because i prefer spring/summer clothing.

i'd still like to get:
-brown boots
-lightweight sweaters (it gets really cold here, but i always feel light jayne mansfield in anything bulky)
-that lace blouse from old navy
-sequinned flats

haha i already started an excel spreadsheet on the things i want for fall. my list is going to be bigger than in the past because most of my clothes are way too big for me now. yay! but this is going to be sad for my wallet. i must be on the ban as long as possible.

so far my list goes:

  • new black suit.. snoozer but essential for work
  • black leather bag (surprising i don't own one)
  • dark grey pants
  • sweater twinsets (ugh my list is putting me to sleep!)
  • one white button down shirt
  • cashmere sweater
  • new winter jacket probably boring black for work
  • shift dress
  • saw the perfect pair of burgundy/brown/chocolate python and velvet pumps MUST HAVE



just found these on Jildor... ooh these are yummy too.

Oh my list is getting longer every single day - I blame the shopping ban

* Cardigans – a variety of unusual / long / different - not just plain ole button down
* 3/4 length crochet cardi / shrug - vintage or vintage looking
* Designer jeans - I have none
* Cardi wrap – BCBG – emerald green
* Military jacket
* Tall brown boots - maybe minnetonka moccasin boots (i wanted last year & didn't get)
* Gold heels or wedges - tall - can you believe I still don't own any?
* Brown purse with brass studs
* Bronze shoes & accessories
* Kimono sleeve / handkerchief top
* Cashmere sweaters - maybe orange or brown - trying to stay away from pink - either cardi or vneck?

That's all for now - I need a high paying job - and quick!!! I don't think I can stay on a shopping ban long enough for my "allowance" to pay for all that
