Nordstrom Anniversary Sale rocks!
Frye ´Harness´ Bootfryes
BCBGirls ´Demo´ Bootbronze to match my botkier

stila anniversary set (warm)stila gift set,

andrew marc convertible vest/jacket in chocolate brown (no pic).  That was all the stuff I pre-bought last wks so technically it shouldn't count :D

This is what I got this wkd:
LORAC Anniversary Color Collectionlorac gift set, eyeliner brush + free lip polish and kiwi eyeshadow

Dolce sunglasses, Gucci sunglasses (no pic), 3 pack of foot petals

And I said I didn't like anything at BP, but I took a harder look (ha!) and I ended up getting charcoal grey zinc plaid pants, deep-v black sweater, brown dolman crossover sweater, ivory puffy, short sl. tneck, a velvet/lace tunic and a lurex deep-v sweater that's not on the website and sadly not on sale either.  There was a long line so I didn't try anything on, so they might not fit well for all I know.

I'm also getting the express silver top that ties in the back that  ManiCouture also got this wkd.  I was going to wait for our extra discount, but it looks like it's going to sell out.  It will go with a lot of items in my closet including my new pants!

There is one pair of white jeans I *might* get this wkd - will edit if I get them :)

Yet another victim of the Nordstrom's Sale.  I went to Nordstrom #1 and it was INSANE.

Got this because I need a "sensible" bag for everday for fall:

This to wear on my flights:

I need to stop buying Pumas, but they are so great for plane rides!

This as one of the gifts for my best friend at her bridal shower:

The Bare Escentuals Complexion Perfection kit b/c I have been hearing such rave reviews about it, and I liked what the SA showed me:

a studded belt

a shrunken blazer in black

some gauchos from F21

I tried to do the Nordstrom sale but it was so crowded I couldn't take it. I'm going to go back on Monday morning when the crowd has died down.

Forever 21 stuff

To be worn with dress below

I won this vintage Lilly Pulitzer dress on ebay. I loved it and still do. I sent my mom a picture and she said, "It looks like something the landlord's wife on Three's Company would wear." I don't care though. The auction was cute and said, "Shoes and weird cat not included."

  • For Me magazine ($1.45 @ Wal-Mart)

  • Hot VWs (Volkswagens) magazine for my honey, since his 1st subscription of that magazine hasn't come in the mail yet ($3.99 @ Wal-Mart)

This Lilly dress for only $5! (Sorry so big!)

This Lacoste polo in hot pink for $10.

(These are the times it's worth working in retail!)

A pair of metallic goldish-silver flip flops for $20...couldn't find a pic anywhere and my dig cam is dead.

Been on a ban but couldn't help myself!

*Edited because I found a better pic of the dress!

My air-conditioning went out this weekend (that is a VERY big deal here), so I sought refuge at malls all weekend. I found a lot of great stuff at the Nordstrom sale, but nothing in my size.

I did get:

imogen knit jacketwhich is beautiful IRL and a lot more practical for our weather than the sweater/shrug thing that was not meant to be.

in ivory

for when I go back to work

<-- reminds me of the A&F one I meant to buy but didn't.

About a million pairs of sofees shorts from Sports Authority...Oh, and my husband & I decided we're going to start playing tennis, so we bought 2 tennis racquets.

All I bought this weekend was this cool map of Italy from 1880 from the Eastern Market and a couple of cute ponytail wraps, but I have a friend working at Nordstrom (20% discount on sale stuff!) and may get her to buy me a pair of Frye boots if I can convince myself they're worth it.

I hit up the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but only got a corduroy blazer for $32 from the BP section. I tried on a bunch of stuff but nothing really fit right.
Then at Urban I got a pink Rebecca Beeson tank for $5 and a pair of C.Ronson tooshies on sale for $6. I'm planning to go back and get more since they are really comfy and cute.
I also found a really cute cherry print umbrella at Gap. I can't resist anything with cherries on 'em.
edit: I just ordered some stuff from J.Crew. I checked out the store this weekend but the sale online was better. I got this dress for $40, it was marked down to $70 in the store.

and these silk charmeuse sash for $10 all with free shipping! if anyone is interested, the code is SAXV.

I just won these Salt works Avenue A jeans for $31 shipped on eBay. I have heard so many raves about these jeans so I hope they work out for me.

i bought a painting from this artist a couple weekends ago, but i just got it back from the framer.  i love his work, and this painting is similar, but IMO, i think mine is much nicer!! when i looked his stuff up online, i contacted a seller and bought ANOTHER painting (that's at the framer now).  he gave me a great deal, and it's a beautiful painting that works well with this one, but definitely an "unexpected but seemed necessary" purchase.

since BCBG just got some really really cute fall stuff in, it's helped me steer clear of the sales (that i don't need to look at) and focus on the upcoming season.  also, the bf's birthday is next week, so i have a couple expenses related to that.

just wanted to add that everyone else got some really really cute things!!

Great finds, everyone!

I ordered these embroidered slides. They looked so adorable I think I'll wear them everywhere, no matter how silly I look!

I also got Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, naturally! And a few lovely postcards from the shop at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum here in Boston.
