Hi, I have a cute pair of wedges that I adore, but the heels are covered in a light suede and they are trashed. I originally sprayed them well with suede protector, but they are so light, it was inevitable...
I've heard of suede brushes to keep the texture from looking pilled, but I'm not sure how you'd go about cleaning it. If they're shoes you'd be very upset about ruining, you might consider taking them to a shoe repair shop instead of trying to DIY.

I have suede cleaner that I bought at Nordstrom Rack. It came with a brush. You brush the suede, spray on the cleaner, wipe it with a rag, brush again if you want, then spray again with the protector.
