UPDATE:  I wore the dress, I got the "job"!! Yay!  A lot of details are being worked out I'll let you know more just as soon as I can.  Thank you girls all so much for your help and support! I'll be pretty busy I assume for a bit, but I'll try to keep everyone informed.

First of all - congratulations!!

Second, I vote for the dress too. It's more "you" and reflects more of your design aesthetic, which is presumably what they like in the first place!

 Thanks D I'll give out more details as soon as I can, a lot is confidential right now.  But it's freaking me out, BIG TIME.  Who am I?!  I'm just a mommy who has a hobby she loves...could be nothing, could be a whole new world.  I have no expectations, just want to go and listen and absorb.

Wow, congrats on the opportunity!

Without knowing the boutique's aesthetic, but knowing yours, I'd go with the chiffon dress outfit. I'm assuming since the boutique found you, you fit their aesthetic. Go with what most represents your line and how it fits into the boutique's style. And of course, wear a few of your best pieces!

I think the dress outfit works best. You may want to try pairing the dress with the blazer, just a thought. Good luck!

I'm with everyone else, the dress with the blazer really works. It looks like you put thought into it and are taking the opportunity seriously, but still has that funky edge to it.

Do you all feel the same way about the blazer if the dress I'm weaing unde it actually had small black buttons from the neckline to the waist? I'm worried it'll be too much going on. I'll have to try it on together and see...
