Brassy highlights?
Permalink Closed

Hi Ladies,

I just had my hair highlighted at a new salon and they turned out really brassy. Normally I get beige/sand colored highlights. I only had my regrowth (roots) done so the brassiness is only my roots, the rest of my hair is still normal. Is there anything I can do? I actually made an appointment to go back to the same place and have my hair "corrected" but I'm not even sure I should go. I recently moved from NYC to FL so going back to the place I usually get my hair done isn't really an option. Any suggestions? TIA.

Well I would definetly go back and make them fix it and don't pay this time around!  As for next time I'd ask around for other recs of places and go somewhere else.

did the stylist use a toner? that'll probably take away the brassiness.

she probably just pulled the wrong tones... make sure you have a master colorist take a look at your roots to determine the best way to correct your color...
