How would you style this dress?

HI all, I bought this dress a few weeks ago and still have not worn it b/c I have no idea how to style it. It feels a little bit like a little girls dress to me. I think it is very pretty but I need to make it more adult looking. Any thoughts? TIA!72967570-02.jpg72967570-02.jpg

Would black gladiator pumps be too much? I don't have gladiator anything, so I'm in unknown territory here, but those seem to be the "toughest" shoes around these days. Maybe with a wide black leather belt to make the outfit seem more cohesive.

I'm thinking a white blazer and interesting wedges that echo the scallops in the dress...


or a gray jacket to tone down the little girl factor even more with some menswear influence:
