Now that I can fit into non-maternity clothes, I'm starting to revamp my wardrobe a little. I'm thinking about purchasing this dress. When I first saw it I loved it but now I'm not sure. It's totally me though (I love bronze and stripes) and I think it would look great with my bronzey the sak bag or my Lauren Merkin gold clutch. What do you think? Cute or just eh??
I'm not sure of the fabric- it seems like it wouldn't be very forgiving and would cling in certain areas. I know that style of dress would look terrible on me- i like dresses with more of a waist. If it works on you, go for it!
If it's a quality fabric that has some weight to it, I say go for it because it's beautiful! If it's a synthetic, skip it unless you can see it in person - the seams tend to pucker on most of the ones I've seen.

Thanks, girls! I took a chance and ordered it. I hope it's flattering on, if not at least I can return it for store credit. I also ordered 2 pr of underwear from spanx to wear with it--Higher Power and the more common one that doesn't go up as high. Hopefully one of those will work.
Oh and Leah--the fabric is 100% silk charmeuse (sp?). Is that good?
Its a beautiful dress but I would skip it. I just bought a silk dress and it was the biggest mistake ever! It is at a second cleaner and 4th run through the dry clean process to try to remove stains from a wedding. I am so upset over it all because it wasn't a cheap dress! It also got snagged very easily when I dropped it off to get pressed.
