Which cardigan?

I know I'm on a shopping ban, but I will be mad at myself if I let this sweater get away!  It's from Anthropologie on sale for $44.95.  I think it's great for fall.  I can't decide which color.  If anybody has this, or has seen/tried on in the store, how do you like it?

I really like the Mocha one.  If you get it post a review!!

I like the Mocha, but you're on a Shopping Ban and that sweater will probably be at Anthro for a while - so you could get it when your ban is over!!!

Is it wrong that I really like them both? I think I prefer the mocha, but I'd probably get the teal one. Only because choc brown is already EVERYWHERE & I imagine it will be huge this fall & I know i'm going to OD on it sooner rather than later. So i'm voting for the teal because it's also a beautiful color but you can't go wrong either way. I feel compelled to fuss at you because you are on a shopping ban & shouldn't be considering either!!!

I voted Teal b/c I think that it will be a harder color to find in a cardigan than Chocolate brown this fall.  Although, I think both colors will be running rampant in stores come fall.

What's the point of the shopping ban then? I'd wait.

I actually bought the teal but then returned it.  I love the way the sweater looks but I returned it because I really only wear cardigans (which this sweater is) but you can't wear it open because the buttons are really snaps so when it's worn open it looks weird.  Anyway, I thought this info. might help you stay on your shopping ban because while I agree this is a beautiful sweater it's really not as wearable as it appears to be.

Okay, I still can't stop thinking about that sweater!  I went to put them in my "cart" but brown is out of stock.  They still have teal.   Today is my payday, and it's the most money I've had in my bank account in a long time (with a little help from the shopping ban).

NyLaBelle is probably right about chocolate brown being in stores everywhere, not so sure about teal though.  flknight24, good info on the buttons actually being snaps.  I wear henleys with snaps and let them fly anyways, so I wouldn't mind with this sweater.  I would like to have at least one good quality sweater fall/winter season, and I know I can't find one for less.

I will go browsing today since most stores have early fall stuff out.  I still need to check if the bag I bought nearly two weeks ago isn't on a better sale.  I still have the tags on it (waiting to use on my little vacation next week) so I can return and rebuy on a better price if necessary.  If it happens I get money back for that, I will get the sweater!  Oh I have a short sleeve sweater and tee from the gap as well, that I'm holding out for fall.  They still have tags as well, so I will check on their prices too!

I think it's too early to buy fall stuff and I feel like that even though this sweater is too cute, cuter will come by. I don't know, but when I want something really bad, I expereince a lot of agony over it for a couple of days or weeks. However, in most instances the desire has dulled with time.

I like the mocha, I don't care for the teal.  That being said, you are on a ban so I say no to both.  While I was on my 3 month ban at the beginning of the year I missed out on a lot of great deals, but a ban is a ban and you know what...I don't even remember what those things were anymore.

Don't buy the sweater.  You'll get over it.  JMO.

neither.  if you make your shopping ban conditional, it will not do you very much good.  and anyways, i don't think you should buy something just because it's a good price.  you should buy something because you love it.  i don't think $45 for an okay sweater is worth breaking the ban for.  other stuff will be on sale by the time it's cool enough to wear sweaters.
