Uhhhhhh...this ban thing is getting kinda weird. I'm starting to feel guilty about buying things I actaully NEED.

So my BF's bro had his birthday dinner and afterwards of course everyone wants to hit the mall! Since the other people we were dining with were of course not on shopping bans they wanted to shop! Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!

I didn't buy anything clotheswise (or shoewise or bagwise), but I did get my Philosophy face wash. However, I was most unsuccessful in trying to find my beloved DDF 10% glycolic toner. I've started breaking out again because my current skincare cocktail isn't as effective as my former one and I can't stand it.

Purity Made Simple

This is a replacement beauty item...but still, it really hurt to part with $32, especially since I was a bit extrvagant with spending this week.

ugh, I did OK but I still feel guilty casue FH's Mom bought me stuff. And honestly, if she didn't I probably would have anyway but only because she insisted on going shopping so I was forced to see all the prettiness.

I did have to buy a shirt to go with a skirt she bought, but it's just a basic white button down so I shouldn't feel too bad about it. It's not like it was anythng extravagent and I didn't have anything similar, but still....

I'll have to find something fun to do next weekend that will keep me out of the mall. This ban is really really hard when you literally live next door to Nordies.

yay i'm really happy! absolutely no shopping this weekend. i walked away from makeup counters without buying anything. didn't even get anything at the drugstore i didn't need (like skipping the neutrogena face mask and only getting the cottonballs that i truly needed). i even went to anthropologie... tried on a sweater that was on sale that i had been watching.. and even putting that back!

yay!

Consider yourself cleansed and absolved and all that jazz, back on the ban wagon we gooooooo!!!

And Lilykind, I know exactly what you mean. I feel guilty buying conditioner and other necessary items. Even groceries were making me feel a bit lavish. I was thinking , do I really need those blueberries. Yes, yes I do.

The amazing thing is I have already noticed a positive influence on my bank account. Yay, self denial really does pay off.
