ladies with kooba siennas!!
Permalink Closed

over the period of 3 months or so, i've been drooling and drooling and drooling over the kooba sienna. the luggage color didn't do it for me, so now that the fall colors are available, i'm drooling even more (if that was even possible). the black bags and the chocolate suede (even though suede is v. impractical for someone who abuses their bags like me) ones are beauties.

the question i have is, is the bag worth the $$? is the quality good? do you use yours often enough to justify the price?  the most i've spent on a bag is $200, and this will be a big jump for me

also, how big are they? the oft-pictured one of sienna carrying her creme-colored one makes it look HUGE (maybe because she's tiny?), but the pictures on revolve clothing etc don't make it seem that big.

TIA!!

Get it!  It's an awesome bag!  I don't use mine quite as much as I should, but that's because I have quite the bag fetish and have a few cute ones on rotation.

Here is a thread where I posted pics of me and the sienna, so it might help you get an idea of size.  I'm 5'5 by the way:

i love love love mine.....sooo much.  it's basically my summer staple.  the quality is awesome, it's totally roomy and goes w/ a lot more than i thought it would (btw, i have it in luggage but love the suede one you posted).  and the funny thing is had it not been for the girls on stylethread, i'd never have gotten it--i think vanessa got drew coveting it and then i went on a mission to help drew find it and then by a strange twist of fate, drew got hers and i was able to keep the one i found for her.  anyway, the reason i probably wouldn't have picked it for myself is probably because my style is kind of structured and dressy so i usually go for bags like the mj sophia or the chanel classic but the sienna is such a gem.  and it's so nice to be able to fit so much into it! anyway, i could go on forever but suffice to say, i think it is WELL worth the price, you get a lot of bag for your buck!

oh one more thing--it looks better and better the more you wear it so while i am usually against suede bags because of the maintenance factor, i think the sienna in suede would look even better if it got a little bit beaten up, i think it would only add to its already awesome character.  HTH!

i was just asking to be enabled

vanessa: thanks for the picture! (the bag looks so great on you) maybe sienna miller is a tiny girl with no neck, b/c she kinda looks like an olsen w/ that bag

esquiress: i'm more of a jeans/tshirt or beater kinda gal, and i think this bag could still be pulled off with my existing wardrobe. i love that this bag can be so versatile

in my search, i also came across this bag:

what do you ladies think? do you like this or the sienna bag better? i could use a smaller bag, but my first love was the sienna

I like the first bag much better.  Slouchier and can be worn under the shoulder.  I have a dark brown suede bag and it has given me no problems because it is so dark.  So I don't think you should have a problem with it!
