What a good puppy!

I heard a really cool story last night and I thought I would share.

I was at a wedding bbq thing for people my BF works with. Raechel who is the gf of my bf's boss, Karin, has a few dogs and she told us a cool story last night.

Rae is getting ready to move into Karin's house, so she has been doing a little painting and fixing things up. Rae has been spending a lot of time on a ladder and she noticed that her dog kept sniffing and licking her calf. She didn't really think anything of it because when she stands on the ladder her calves are at the same level as the dog’s mouth- that was the only place the dog could reach. One day her dog got a drink of water and came over to her leg and slobbered all over it. Rae wiped off her leg and noticed that there was a bump in it. She watched it for a few days and ending up going to the doctor. Rae had cancer in her leg.

Everything worked out okay and Rae is fine, but how crazy is that? I have heard new stories that dogs are able to sniff cancer, but it just so crazy to know someone and the dog that did it. Needless to say that dog is being spoiled to death. She will be having T-bones for diner for the rest of her life.
