Question about ortho tri cyclen lo
Permalink Closed

Okay, I've been using ortho tricyclen lo for about a year now and my last period was basically spotting with no real flow, light cramps.  Are your periods supposed to get very light after using it for awhile? I'm curious.

Welllll, I know that I'll probably get yelled at for this but I haven't had a period in a couple years since I started the pill. I mean, when I get to the inactive pills sometimes I'll spot for one day but other times I have nothing at all. Like, right now I'm supposed to be on my period but I'm not. It is supposed to lighten and reulate your flow but it's not supposed to stop it so you're good.  I enjoy not having a period to worry about so I don't do anything about it.

I've been using Apri, and have had the same experience.  It used to start on Wednesday, then it went to Thursday, then Friday, etc.  Now, it MIGHT start on Sunday, which is the day I start taking the red pills again so it's irrelevant.  I'm a little worried about it too, but I think it's probably fine.
