I just got a fabulous one at Marshalls. Its a Hotel brand (says hotel on the outside). Not sure about fill but I know it has a pretty good thread count ETA 370 Thread Count. It is not a feather bed FYI. I think I saw some on Smartbargains last night and they are a good quality pad. I know its sold in real stores but I can't figure out where I've seen it before. I think I'll just go take a pic of it in the morning so you can see what to look for. It was around $30 or $40 for a queen size which is a really good deal.

Featherbeds are suppose to be nice. I know if you want to get one of those then go for a featherbed with blocks and not columns because it helps keep the feathers from shifting to all one end.

I have this same problem and I was thinking of getting the Nasa foam pad from Costco for $119/queen. They have all sizes available. I saw it IRL and it was pretty thick, felt nice too. I had a feather bed on it before and it was horrible Like lsubatgirl said, if you don't get the ones with the box stitching the feathers are going to bunch up and be Very uncomfortable.

Rosie! I literally was JUST going to post about Costco. I have heard great things about the Costco mattress pad.....

Sadly, I live in Manhattan and have no access to Costco. It is one of the few things that makes me year for the suburbs! I will definitely check out foam pads and box-stitched filled pads though. Thanks for the advice everyone.
