i bought this cute little shrug at old navy over the weekend becuase i was wanting to refresh my work wardrobe for the end of summer.  can anyone think of any other way of wearing it besides over a tank top, though?


i am now thinking it's probably too casual and will probably end up returning.

That's so cute! I think it could definitely be formal enough for the office.


Some sort of sleeveless blouse could be cute and work-appropriate. And I agree with FP about a pencil skirt.

thanks, ladies.  i knew i just needed to break out of my rut of tank/jeans/cardi.  i have some black wide-leg pants like the ones you posted, cc--i'm going to try that with it and see.  and the pencil skirt is a good idea, too.  thanks.
