I feel trapped inside because i hate the heat and humidity.  Yuck.  I don't know what to do- I don't even want to lie by the pool (i have to drive there, maybe i'd go if it was right downstairs.)  I just want to be inside in the A.C. and NOT BE BORED.  Maybe I'll take a nap.

If I am not swimming then I am either watching tv, on the computer or reading. I HATE hot weather. I feel like I can't do anything. I am pretty worthless when it is hot out.

It's been 100 degrees+ over the last few days in Sacramento. I hate it when it's hot. I hate the heat, clothes sticking to me, getting sunburned, etc.

I usually stay in-doors, unless it's absolutely necessary for me to be outside. I'm either on the computer or studying cause I have summer classes. Sometimes I take naps because the heat makes me drowsy.

You can send some of the heat over here.  It is only 72 today.  Not warm enough to go swimming.  We are going to use the presser washer to pump some hot water in our little pool!

When it's hot here in Florida (i.e. all the time), I usually drive to the beach with some friends.

Do you live near the ocean?

Hey Gypsyfreak, I'm in Stockton.  It is so hot around too,  I've just been hanging around indoors with the A/c on and play on the computer, or watch tv.  I'm shady about using public pools so I take several cool baths a day (I know, I'm  weird)

Hey rosie, small world eh? I actually don't live too far from you. I'm in Elk Grove. I'm glad to see some local STers.

I'm usually INSIDE w/the A/C on full blast, playing on one of the computers, watching TV, or reading a magazine. LOL When it gets SOMEWHAT cooler outside, I'll go sit on the porch, watch the cars drive by.......

amen to this!!

me too---

maybe an early evening in the park reading or listening to one of those free concerts in the shade, go to Barnes and Nobles and read, grocery shop, the mall, the pool, the beach, play games inside, swing in a swing or rocker real fast, make ice cream at home, run through the sprinkler like a little kid, ride on a boat, go to the lake, go tubing, go white water rafting, go camping and swim in a cold river, hike in the mountains
