need ideas for teen girls
Permalink Closed

My cousin and her friend are coming to stay with me for a week in August. They are both 15. What can I do with 2 teen girls for a week to keep them entertained? I need some ideas that don't seem too "dorky". (I'm trying to be a cool old person)

I use to hang out with my ex bf's sister (who is 15) and we would always go to the mall (thats what she loves to do) and let her kind of lead me around and show me stuff and then the pool was the other big one.  Maybe you could set up mani and pedi appts for the 3 of you as a treat =).

Maybe a day at the pool, mani pedi's sound go as well, movies, shopping, if they are from out of town maybe you could take them around and show them things in your city.

Take them to a trendy cool restaurant.

My bf sisters are 13 and 16 and the LOVE getting dressed up and going out. I take them to this classy trendy restaurant in town and they order virgin drinks (yes, I know not the best idea. Their parents would probably freak out if they knew that). They have a lot of fun.

I also like the spa dat @ the pool.

My 17 year old sister just spent a week with me and we went to a different mall literally every single day on her prompting. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those options. I think my sis liked the idea that I gave her options though (all those exact options, actually) - I think she is used to being "told" what to do not given a real choice. The first day she was timid about it but by the last day she rather demanded where to go. LOL - I tried to tell her that if she didn't speak up she'd never get what she wanted - I think my dad wants to kill me now. LOL Ya'll are going to have a ball, and trust me, they will think you are cool. My sis thought it was so cool that I knew the brands & that we went & touched the coach & MJ & Michael Kors purses - where she is they are all behind glass - the strangest things impress the young!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We also went to Sephora & she thought that was cool - I guess it depends on if they already have all that & think it's old, but I was the coolest sis on the block that week, let me tell you!! (Didn't hurt that my DH gave her his old laptop on her way home). She was also thoroughly impressed that we had tivo & ipods - on gee, poor child.
