So, I think I've finally decided that I need to get me a pair of Frye boots for fall/winter. How does the sizing run? True to size, big or small? And they're comfy for walking, right?
in my experience they run pretty tts, maybe a little bit big. they're definitely comfy for walking ( i walk a lot) and i think the pair you're looking at would be a great investment. and i know you could work wonders with them. hth.
Those boots are hot! They are exactly what I have been looking for! The leather on my Frye boots from ebay is so stiff and made them uncomfortable. They need broken in, so I haven't even worn them out and have had them for a year. They run true to size.
I found Frye's to be TTS for me. I've been jonesing this exact pair for 6 months & now that I'm ready to buy, they're back-ordered in my size until Sept.
TTS to a bit large. I wear a 7 in my Fryes and a 7 1/2 or 8 in most shoes, but my feet are wide. I wear my Campus boots into the ground and they're so comfy...plus more fashionable and funky than wearing sneakers.
I LOVE those Fryes, but there's no hope of those ever getting over my calves. You'll look awesome in them though, FP...you will work amazing things with them. Can't wait to see your threadstyle posts with these!
I've found that they run big by about half a size. That's in the Campus style, though. However, if you want to put an insert in to make them more comfortable, you should probably get your normal size.

I agree. I have campus boots in a slightly smaller size.
