I feel like a doofus for asking this since i've been on my own for a few years- but what should I use? Usually I use paper towels, but right now there is a film over everything. ugh. Steel wool, textured sponge, toilet brush? What kind of spray should i use? Any suggestions welcome- I want it sparkling
My old cleaning lady (as in ex, i used to have one, she wasn't very old) turned me on to the BEST stuff - it is walmart brand great value all purpose cleaner. It's about 97 cents, smells like bleach, but cleans better than anything i've ever used. I usually use a brillo pad on mine, but the last time i did it I got in there with a toothbrush & scrubbed it to death. It took forever but it sparkled like a diamond (ok, maybe a diamonique)

Scrubbing bubbles! I swear by this stuff. Just spray it on, let it foam a few minutes, and then you can just wipe it off with a rag or paper towels. THE FILM MAGICALLY GOES AWAY!

i use a spray shower cleaner every morning so i don't have to scrub. this has worked for 2 years. (i did scrub once when we moved in two years ago with a brush and bleach)
What spray shower cleaner do you use? Is it specifically for spraying every day? I just moved into a new place and I think my shower gets dirtier quicker than the old one used to. I used to just scrub with the same stuff I cleaned the toilet with. Some kind of bleach gel product.
Here's a cleaning tip: If any of you girls have tiles that you have a hard time cleaning, get that clorox bleach pen thing. It rocks! I know it's been around awhile but seriously - so effective and good. And I kind of like the way bleach smells so...
Tilex Fresh Shower Daily Shower Cleaner Clorox/Home Cleaning Tilex Fresh Shower daily shower cleaner makes it easy to step into a fresh and clean shower every day. Spray a light mist after you shower. No need to rinse, wipe, or scrub. Bathroom dirt and soap scum won't get a chance to build up. No harsh chemicals so it's safe for most surfaces. Leaves no dull residue. It is safe on glass, glazed tile, tubs, and shower curtains. 32 fl. oz. trigger spray bottle.
the target brand also works great

I use something called "The Works" and believe me--it works!!! I tried pure Clorox bleach before and it didn't work as well as The Works. I just squirt it onto the shower and let is set about 5 minutes and then scrub a little. The gunk comes right off. I bought it at a dollar store called The Dollar General but I have seen it at the Dollar Tree too.
I bought the scrubbing bubbles!! amazing!!! and I also bought the Method daily shower cleanser to keep it clean in the meantime. Thanks so much girls!!
