Two belts.. one outfit?
Permalink Closed

Several different mags I have seen recently, show models wearing the Boho look, have two belts on.. Both leather.. usually one thin and one thick..

Does anyone think this is flattering? I have a problem thinking it will not accentuate even the tiniest bit of tummy...

Are there rules to this look? Can the belts be different shades of brown.. both braided? one of each? What?

Is this a good idea?

Also post any pics.. for possible suggestions. TIA!

Love the look!!!  I think the belts should be totally different - like a grosgrain and a braided together AND of different thicknesses/widths.  Or metallic and leather.  Or wide brown leather and skinny pink leather.  You get the picture.

I remember Cali did this in one of her thread style posts.  It looked really cute and not boho at all.

I'm too lazy to post pics right now, but I think the key is that the vibe of the belts should be the same, but the size and style should be different.  For example, you could put a wide (2-plus inches) bronze braided belt with a very thin (1/2- 1 inch) sparkly bronze belt.  If that makes any sense at all, which it might not b/c I'm exhausted and need to get off this forum and go to bed.
