hey peeps!


ok, here's the deal, one of my very best friends is getting married and i'm one of three bridesmaids but we don't have to wear the exact same dress.  but the bride does want them all to be in the same color family (pistacio/mint/basically any gentle green) and very formal.  so i'm thinking long for sure but other than that i have no idea!


suggestions anyone?  oh and andrea julia thanks soo much for replying to my post in the weddings section but i couldn't see any of your pics!

On modernbride.com they have a dressfinder.  You can specify criteria and search through tons of different dresses.  I didn't go through a lot of them, but I saw this Paula Varsalona one and I love it.  The site says it comes in greens.

I'm not sure how "bridesmaidsy" you want to be....but lazaro makes some really fantabulous dresses and they are very formal..


I also really love vera wang bridesmaid dresses..

Sorry, they didn't work.  They were Vera Wang gowns.  I was going to try to figure out how to post them but couldn't.  If you go to the page, there are several nice green dresses.  They are in the bridesmaid section.  I checked the regular dress section and there wasn't anything that was in the color you wanted that I thought was that great.

Vera Wang does have some great dresses, I have never been able to post their pics either! I just went through this for my friend's wedding that we got to choose our own dresses. I found that I actually like the real bridesmaid options better. There is this great store that will sell you just one dress and they are all discounted! It takes 3 mos. but well worth the wait. I totally am at a blank about the name, I know LSUbatgirl knows what it is! I'll check back in!
