If you could be in any store in the world right this instant instead of where you are now...what would it be. And why?

SFC I am so with you on Henri Bendel! That is my favorite too! That doesn't surprise me though! Although I am dreaming of bridal store right now....Caroline Herrera!

I would be in a cool store in L.A (everyone seems to love Fred Segal!) because I've never been there and I am curious as to what its like!!

I would want to be at topshop in London. They have the coolest stuff! And being in London wouldn't be bad either.

Bendels...mmmm I that place.

Not to be mean or anything, but I've been in both Fred Segals and I've never really liked either one all that much. Maybe it's just because even though I'm a West Coaster, I really don't care for most West Coast styles.

lilykind, you don't like the fred segal in santa monica?  i love going there for jeans and make up.  fred segal's cosmetic counter used to sell this brand that's really hard to come by (make up forever, it has a store in nyc but not one in la).  anyway, i have a friend whose a makeup artist there (actually i think she switched to perfumes recently but whatever) and i love going there and hanging out w/ her and the other artists, they're all so cool and informative!

wow sorry for the tangent....getting back on topic my pick would be sophea parros in pasadena.  and it's right down the street from my apt. so if i ever get out of work at a decent hour, it's actually in the realm of possibility!

Bergdorf Goodman, shoe department. Ahhhh.... heaven! Who needs the Met when you have Goodman? (Met, you KNOW I'm kidding, nothing beats your Van Gogh room!)

Selfridges...and then I would go down the street to topshop and then down the street to the flea market and for the heck of it I would stop in at Oasis...because if I'm already there (and the flight did take 8 hours!), I might as well make the most of it.

I would like to be in Neiman Marcus, because I have never been there before.  I'm sure I could only browse at most of the things in there!

I don't know...they always treat me like crap or something. IMO most of the salesgirls are kinda snotty and I feel like an ugly duckling there.

You're so lucky you've got awesome friends who work there.

Anthropologie for sure!  And in my fantasy, everything would be on ultra-clearance and in my size!

Ah, that's why I like Fred Segal so much...my style has a strong West Coast vibe.  But, to each his own and it's not mean to dislike a store that someone else likes!
