They are Frye Deborah ankle boots.  Shopbop has a couple of plain versions in their current lookbook.  I went thru all the lookbook pictures and now I'm dying for ankle boots When I did a search, all the other websites have the studded version.  At first I thought I like the plain version, but the studs have been growing on me.

Fairywings - I'll let ya know wen I get 'em.  Frye usually runs a little big, so I sized down half a size from my normal size.

I got the boots - the half size smaller fit perfect. They zip up on the size, so they are not huge around the ankle, but skinny jeans tuck into them perfectly - I love them!
