STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Okay, I'm desperate at this point. I made a post awhile ago about help with going-out tops and got some good responses. So I go out to the mall (CRAPPY CRAPPY mall) and Target to see if I could find some similar types of shirts that weren't that expensive (I don't go out that much, so expensive would be a waste). I found nothing because my town sucks.

So, now I'm trying to figure out if anything in my closet will work for a going out shirt. I'm basically trying to find something casual, but somewhat sexy, that will work for going to a gay club on my vacation. I've decided to give up on sexy because I can't find anything that I like, that doesn't look cheap, even if it is. I also need something that I can work a bra under, because I refuse to wear strapless bras.

I also don't really have time for online shopping because I go on vacation next Weds, so there's not much time for shipping, especially if I ordered something and it didn't fit, and had to exchange. Plus I'm beyond picky when it comes to fit.

This is where desperation comes in. I have the following stuff already in my possesion. Do you think this would work for the going out situation above?

If I wear the more destroyed mini, I'll wear a black shirt similar to this, except mine is ruched on the sides and around the v-neck, and there's no tie:



In my desperation mode, would either of these 2 outfits pass?
