I dunno about the top, but on the bottom I would probably wear bermuda shorts.

My FIL is the CEO of a large international company.  He wears a suit every day, but he'd rather be casual.  I know from HIS perspective, if someone showed up at a company function that said "casual" and you wore something high-maintenance, he'd think that person was not a "team" player.  Keep it very casual in, as Kisa said, bermudas or capris.  I wouldn't do a skirt just in case you get roped into playing volleyball or something like that.  Maybe wear a non-sparkly, knitted halter in a solid color just to play it conservative.  Add a cute necktie belt for a funky play on the work attire.  You could go all preppy/country club w/ pom pom socks and little canvas tennies if you're outfit won't look teeny bopper w/ them.

I'd wear a cute but nice knit top and either capris or bermudas and then some nice sparkly flip flops or sandals/wedges.  Maybe bring some pumas or something if you plan on playing some sports
