cleaning "footprints" inside of shoes (dollyannas, c ronsons, etc...)

Any of you girls who have dollyannas/Molly pitchers/C. Ronsin wegdes - or anything else with a soft suede footbed... how do you clean it? I don't have filthy feet (as a matter of fact, I even wear flips in my own house) but inevitably a dark footprint shows up inside my shoes that have that taupey suede padded footbed/sole. It's sort of gross-looking. How do I clean this?

I used the same suede "eraser" thingy and suede brush that I use for my suede handbag.  It works great on my C.Ronsons.

This is the kit I like:  http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000DIR99/sr=1-4/qid=1119407692/ref=sr_1_4/104-5929331-1416708?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=1036682&s=apparel&v=glance

wow, does it really erase dark marks? does it change the texture of the suede?

Well, it doesn't work miracles, but it has done the job for me so far.  I've never had to deal w/ any really dark marks, just water/sweat spots and such.  If you rub gently and follow the instructions, it doesn't really change the suede.
