another PMS-related question (sorry!)

I don't know how to put this nicely, so I'll just say it as it is:
my breasts are so swollen that I feel like a fat cow. It's unbelievable: my bra cups are "half full" on normal days, but now they just look too small (I was thinking about buying some bras in a bigger cup size).

The problem is, it's also painful.

Do you wise girls have some suggestions on vitamins/herbal supplements/OTC drugs I can try? Please, don't suggest me to avoid salt, b/c I already do that; I eat lots of veggies and drink gallons of water, don't add sugar to my coffee/tea, don't eat any cheese and so on, so it's not the food.

Please help before I kill the next person who stares at my breast while I am talking to them!

I have the same problem you do...I always have AWFUL breast tenderness and swollen-ness (hahaha, so not a word). I just always wear a bra to bed. They're still swollen, and still sore, but at least they're not moving around. Also, are you on birth control? It's 10 times worse for me when I'm birth control, b/c what's making your chest hurt is all those hormone receptors, and birth control just adds more hormones. Avoiding beef/chicken/meat seems to help a little bit. I think that all the hormones we add to our beef aggravates the problem. And no caffeine. Exercise can help too. At first it's incredibly painful, but if I work past the initial pain, it's better. They feel better after swimming too.
If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. And please, if you find anything that works, please let me know!!!! I DREAD that time of month. I'm actually happy to get my period b/c it means an end to the pain!

soo true! Can't wait to get my period!
I do exercize, but running becomes really painful and I have to stick to biking. And I don't eat meat, so I don't think it's the hormons in the food. And I am not on birth conrol.

May be I'll try dandelion as Dizzy suggested. I'll let you know if I find anithing!
