I've heard of cook books for 5 minute recipes and other books for 5 ingredient recipes. Anyone know of them? Or do you have your own recipe that fits those guidelines?? Thanks!

i'm not sure which books you're thinking about specifically BUT if you are looking for quick, delicious recipes with few ingredients check out donna hay's cookbooks. she is known for recipes with a short list of simple ingredients and every single recipe i've tried is very good (and i'm not a very good cook) i have 3 of her books, but this is one ("new food fast") is my favorite:

This takes a bit longer than 5 minutes, but I made it this weekend and it's SO GOOD. And if you make the pesto while the pasta is boiling, it takes no time at all. Also, the recipe calls for whole blanched almonds and since I didn't know how to blanch an almond, I just used sliced almonds with the skin still on them and it tasted fine to me. I got the recipe from Martha Stewart's Everyday Food magazine.

Almond Pea Pesto:
1 lb. pasta (penne or small shells are good)
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen peas (thawed)
1/2 cup blanched almonds
1-1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 lemon (zest and juice)
1/4 cup olive oil

1. Boil a large pot of salted water, and cook pasta according to directions. When there are about 2 minutes left on pasta, add one of the packages of peas.
2. Drain the pasta, but reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water
3. In a food processor grind the almonds.
4. Now add the lemon zest and juice to the to almonds, along with the remaining package of peas, and the salt. Process again.
5. Add the olive oil slowly while processing
6. Now add the the sauce to the pasta, tossing it well and adding the reserved pasta water as needed.
