I'm sorry to hear of your impending loss.  It's good you are planning ahead...I can sympathize as I went through the same thing last month...I had to drag myself to the malls and pull together an outfit in one day, not at all easy when you are emotionally drained. I discovered that black funeral appropriate dresses are very difficult to come by at this time of year.  I ended up with a skirt from Ann Taylor...mine isn't on-line anymore but perhaps a similar look would work for you...
