Anyone have light-hearted confessions they want to share?

I'll go first: My boss's sneezes are so loud and sound so violent -- yet I laugh whenever he sneezes just b/c they are so loud. (His office isn't near mine, yet I still hear him...)

Hope y'all don't think this is lame...

For this one my vanity is getting the best of me...

At the end of July my husband and I are going to a female friend of his' wedding (they were close in highschool, even tried to date,  but we never really see her now). At the time of the wedding  I'll be 10 weeks pregnant *cross fingers* and I'm worried my dress won't looks as good on me.

I haven't showered since Monday. I'm about to go do it now. Ugh, I'm so dirty.

My vanity is totally getting to me.  I feel like a fat ass cow.  I want to have this baby soon so I can start working out!

I am sorry to all cat lovers but I don't like my SO's cat. He is a brat.

As much as I try to fight it - I like Britney Spears.

i'm afraid to look on the shopping & fashion thread for fear my need/love of shopping will take me over since i'm on the shopping ban. i actually get a little terrified when i see it - like a drug or something.

same for the thread style sometimes. i just know there will be girls with outfits i want to copy and i won't be able to because i can't shop and then there's the cursing and the stomping of feet and such. it's not pretty.

I'm right there with you. It's gotten embarrassing. I know EVERYTHING about her. Everything. I'm a freaking expert and could really write essays analyzing her life using VH1, Us Weekly and her personal website as sources. And In The Zone? Best album ever.

Same with me blubirde.  I am actually staying at home 24/7 so that I won't go shopping because I really can't afford to spend money right now.

hmm confessions... I don't feel like talking to any of my friends so I have had my phone turned off for a few days.

I'm actually starting to like Hillary Duff movies.  She just makes some of the cutest teeny bopper movies. (BTW I saw the Perfect Man and it was really cute)

I really like real world/road rules challenges and Laguna Beach.  I got so excited when the "good guys" won last night, and I periodically read Mike (www.mikethemiz.com ) and Lori's websites (www.everythinglori.com).  I also look at the the shows pages on mtv.com for these two shows.  I saw a long preview for Laguna Beach 2 and I'm really excited.  It's such a shallow, guilty pleasure, but I love it.  Their hs is MADE for television- I like to imagine it exactly how the show depicts it and without all the boring moments that inevitably don't make it to air.  For some reason, it gives me comfort knowing that high school can really be like all those dumb high school shows.  And i really like Kirsten.  Even if she is always the center of attention, has a whiny annoying voice, etc- I think she is more articulate and seems more real than the others.  And I think she's really pretty.  Ok, this was embarrassing

I also really really love Kirsten Dunst and Jake Gyllenhaal and want to be their friends/want them to get married/want to date either of them.

I love Lo. There is something about her, but I just love her.

I understand.  I really DON'T need anything else for summer.  I want to wait until the end of October before I buy anything else but I am afraid I won't be able to wait.  I am worried I will see all the posts of pretty fall clothing you girls start getting and I will want to jump on the bandwagon.  The past two years I have spent all my Fall clothing money by September and then I see all the sales going up.  It does not even get cold here until about the middle of November.

I even have written notes to myself on my desk calendar reminding myself not to shop.  Here is the note I have written to myself at the top of the August 2005 page in my calendar in bright red ink :

NOTE TO SELF:  DON'T GO FALL SHOPPING YET!!!  Remember how last year you went shopping so early and the weather was still hot even in October.  Also remember all the sales at Gap, Express, Old Navy, BR, and NY&Co in October.  Just wait, wait, wait!!!  You will still have time two months from now in October.  Also remember how Ann Taylor and Gap introduced new Winter stuff in October. WAIT!!!

Here is the note to myself at the top of the September page:

Remember those beautiful fall clothes from Gap that came out the middle and last of October--they weren't on sale but you could have bought some of them if you had waited!! KEEP WAITING TO SHOP!! IT WILL STILL BE HOT IN OCTOBER!! ALOT OF STUFF WILL BE ON SALE!!

<Am I scaring you??> If not, read on.

Here is my note to myself at the top of the October page in my desk calendar:

Remember it was still in the 80's at the end of October!! Remember Nordstrom's 1/2 yearly sale starts in October.  Also remember that on Nov 8 it was 75 degrees and you were looking at Gap clothes you could have bought if you hadn't already spent all your money!!!

sometimes i "dress up" or at least put on matching bumming around clothes before my bf gets home from work so that i don't become "one of those gfs".

sometimes i would rather watch the insider or entertainment tonight than the news because it's so depressing.

when i got a free magazine subscription, i really wanted to subscribe to Instyle, but i figured Time would be more mature.

when my bf is out of town, i often eat Reese's cereal for dinner.

Once I forgot to put of my BF's work shirts in the washer so I sprayed it with the Febreze for fabrics and told him it was just wrinkled from sitting in the basket too long (I made sure it didn't smell or was visibly dirty).  Of course he didn't notice

Usually when my best friend calls (she lives in Hawaii) I don't answer the phone.

I am obsessed with pirates and zombies. Seriously. So weird for a girly-girl.

Sometimes I am so nervous about meeting my online bf I think about not showing up, even though he paid for most of the trip.

I really miss my ex-boyfriend, and I won't tell any of my friends.

I am so petrified of needle's that I haven't been to a doctors office in about 3 years. I have not even gotten a doctor since I moved, and I have to go to the ER every tme I get an ear infection (which is like 4 times per year). I am too afraid to go for a well check.

Same thing with snakes. I am so scared that I will not walk in long grass or swim in a river/lake. I love camping, but can't go because I stay up all night pointing the flashlight at the ground and never get any sleep. FH wants to go this summer and I told him only if I can sleep in the car.

I am graduating with a MA in December, but really just want to stay home and have a family. But I feel like I can't do that because I worked so hard and spent so much to get through school.

I have been engaged for 2 years because I am too lazy to plan a wedding. I want to elope, but am afraid that my parents would never speak to me again if I did. So I just do nothing.
