and it's that time of the year where we have static problems with his hair. Each morning I put a little bit of water in it to tame it down, and then I rub body lotion on my hands and then run through his hair to help with the static.
any other ideas out there?
because it seems that I need more help!

I have long wavy (OK, frizzy most days) thick hair and I use John Freida's Secret Weapon Styling Cream. I squeeze a small dab on my hands, rub them together and smooth down my hair. It works wonders. I have my dad use the creme to smooth down his hair when he has to go out (and you don't know funny until you see a 76 year old man use hair products.wink)  You can get it at Ulta, Target, most gocery/drug stores I would imagine.  And it comes in a silver tube so it doesn't look girlie at all.

This sounds nuts but...when my hair used to get super staticky, I would actually take a dryer sheet and rub it on my hair. I do it to my dog too when she needs it.

I would also make sure he is using a super moisturizing conditioner if his hair can handle it.

I do the same thing!  My husband thinks I'm crazy, but it really works.
