_5935849.jpgAnd then there's this.  This JS Boutique dress was just hanging there on the clearance rack calling my name.  I don't have a single reason to wear it...but, at around $60 I just couldn't leave it behind. 

I continued to go a little nuts at Bed, Bath and Beyond.  Between Black Friday and multiple coupons I walked away with:

fun! i especially love the dresses! i bet you'll get lots of use out of the pizza stone. i loved mine, b4 it broke. :( try making cookies on it, they turn out delicious!!

Holy smokes!!

I get those 4-packs of plastic cutting board sheets (the ones that have pictures for dairy, veggies, beef, etc) and use them on top of my bamboo cutting board for most wet/messy stuff. It saves the cutting board and is easier on the knives than using the sheets on the hard counter.

Also I have similar pewter-ware by Wilton Armetale and I luuurvs it! I buy a piece whenever I see it on sale.

@Boots...ok, I literally got on the scale with the stone in the box...looks to be about 5 lbs.

@Sibeski...yup, I was definitely giving in to impulse and shopping for myself instead of for my son! Now I'll have to go back to the no-buy zone again, but it was well worth it!

@Clothes_Horse...cookies sounds like a good idea...I wouldn't have thought to try them on there. My son likes to organize things so I imagine he'll have a lot of fun with putting ingredients on pizza dough.

@Suasoria: thanks for the tip...my last set of cutting boards died a slow and painful death and started to take on that smell. Ick! As to the serverware...I'm planning on buying myself a piece at a time when it's on sale or for special occasions.
