Happy belated birthday Drew!

My present to myself was this trip to the East Coast. I'm flying out tonight on the red-eye, and I'll be there for a week or so.

I had a good birthday. I still had to go to work, but they had lots of cupcakes and choclate in the office, plus my boss is so adorable and stuck a candle in one of the cupcakes. I took a picture...I might post it if I can get my digital camera to be hooked up to a computer. My boss also gave me money for a nice lunch...but then I went to my favorite sushi place by work (so yes, Cricket, I got my sushi)and they gave me my meal for free . Plus everyone treated me extra nice and I got lots of birthday calls and aim messages.

I'll probably get the purse I've dabated over for a million years from Dad (). The maanger of my apartment building is taking me to the airport and treating me to dinner today. BF has promised me a night out (we haven't gone on a proper "date" in at least a year) and then we'll see one of our comic book loves, . He's also promised other little surprises, but it won't be until I'm back in Los Angeles.

All in all, I'm very happy and floating on air for the next week.
