thanks for posting this.  i hadn't realized they were going to release her autopsy results.  i am glad for her sake that she was in a vegetative state.  i imagine it would been torture to be aware of what was going on and to be aware of slowly dying, too.  i hope everyone involved with this feel some sense of peace now.

I agree with scarlett.  I never really knew what I felt about the whole issue, but I saw life support firsthand last week and it changed my mind.

On a side note, there's an inexcusable grammar error in that story. I hope they fix it.

Now I have to know what grammar error you're talking about.  I read the story and found one that I probably would have normally overlooked.  Tell me!!!  It'll drive me crazy!

Now I want to know too! Is it,
"...as her parents' requested."
the apostraphe?

This is what was looking odd to me.  I don't think it is correct, but Halleybird, being a journalism teacher, could be seeing something else.

Speaking before the report was issued, Felos, said the Schindlers continue to engage in a "smear campaign against Michael to deflect the real issues in the case, which were Terri's wishes and her medical condition."

The longest sentence every =)

Autopsy results on the 41-year-old brain-damaged woman were made public Wednesday, more than two months after her death March 31 ended a right-to-die battle between her husband and parents that engulfed the courts, Congress and the White House and divided the country.

That definately could have been cut down into two seperate sentences.

that's the one I was thinking of. That apostrophe doesn't belong in the sentence.

The one Cricket found is definitely incorrect too. There should be no comma after "Felos."

And that sentence HeatherLynn found is terrible, too. Ugh. You would think CNN would have better copy editors!

If you love grammar books, Woe Is I is awesome, too.
