I am back and forth about it b/c

-i like it, i'm not sure i love it
-i need a trench, but i wonder if this is "classic" enough to have some longevity, b/c of the collar
-its on sale for $22, so i may have "sale goggles" on (+ im a poor student, so every dollar counts)- free shipping, but a $7 return fee b/c of black friday sale price
-its 100% cotton- does that mean its not waterproof? also, its probably not lined, the description doesn't say
-and if i did order- which color- black or cashew (the color shown)?

I think there are too many buttons on it. Or something. Something's off.

Anyway, even though it's a great price, I think you'd be better off saving up for a different trench. They never go out of style, so buying a quality one that will last a while (which still doesn't have to be expensive) is probably a worthwhile investment.

Sorry, I might be too late too, but it doesn't look that great in cashew, but it seems like it's going to look much better in black...for $22...what is the color of the buttons in black: contrast or black on black?

I really dislike the collar. It also doesn't look very warm and when it's raining and that damp cold, you are going to want something lined. I'd put the $22 towards a different trench. Do you have a Zara by you? They had some nice ones that were under under $100 and might have the again in the Spring.
