Weight Watchers ?...LSU this means you
Permalink Closed

I am just starting Weight Watchers. I am not overweight @ the time, but I have to drasticlly cut back on my exercise. If I don't change somethings then I willl be overweight.

I am doing okay w/ the points, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on weight watchers products to try- especially the snacks or any snacks that are not weight watchers that are low in points. I like junk food and if I don't get somethings that are low points I am going to end up going crazy at Dairy Queen.

Thanks!

Oooh the WW muffins at walmart are really good for breakfast.

Dairy Queen has a f/f and maybe s/f fudge bar that is 1 pt.

S/f jello is 0 pts.

S/F F/F pudding is like 1 pt.

Baked lays & cheetos aren't too bad for you 2-3 pts.

I'm not at home so I don't have my cheat sheet as to how many points are what so let me check it and get back to you tonight.

Thanks LSU.

I didn't even think about checking the pudding and jello section. I walked around the grocery store w/ my mom last night and my littlle points calculator trying to find things I could eat. I wasn't very sucssesful.

RyanJ,

Did you buy the books?  The ones you can look up certain foods & the restaurant guide?  There is also a website this lady started, she lists almost every restaurant you can think of with all the point values of ea. food.  She also has food lists and recipes which really makes it so much easier, plus I was not about to pay for the WW online service as well.

PM me if the link doesn't show, I don't know if it's ok to post it:

THANKS!!

I stole a few books from my brother because he is doing it. The books he had are a few years old because they were from his wifes mother ( could that have been more confusing). My book doesn't have taco bell, so I was going to go get their and try to figure it out by using their nutrional value info.

I am going to spend all night looking @ all the points.

SF/FF pudding- 1pt, I think

berries w/ a dallop of FF cool whip (0 points for 2 T)

a McDonalds cone is 3 points

if you get the WWshakes and belnd them with ice and a crushed up "just 2 points" bar it is like a DQ blizzard for about 4 points.

diet coke cake (mix a box of dry cake mix with a can of diet coke and bake)- usually ends up around 2 points per serving. You can mix up flavors too- my favorite is devils food and diet Dr. Pepper....lemon w/diet 7 up is good too.

100 calorie packs are 2 popints- and I hear Nabisco is making some now too with shortbreak cookies

no pudge brownies- 2 fabulous points

WW/skinny cow/ no pudge ice cream bars - range from 1-3 points.

there is a FF brownie i buy sometimes by nutritious creations. it's very dense and i can rarely finish the whole thing. it's only 2pts.

also love ff cool whip (i inhale this)

there is a girl scout cookie that is reduced fat and lemon favored that's like 2pts per serving i think... (5 cookies per serving)

Thank girls.

I have been doing it for about a week now and have been doing really well. There have been a few nights where I had to eat something w/ a lot of points just to get to where I need to be. If I don't I eat the points I need my mom is screaming "YOu have to eat all your points!" I was really nervous it was going to be hard, but I had Taco Bell last night. Everything is working out.

I JUST started too! I'm SO glad I'm not alone in this!

I gain almost 20 lbs in less than a year since my wedding (i just stopped working out and enjoyed eating again). I'm not a mess but there's no reason my pants should hurt when I sit down!

So, here I am. This Thurs will be one week and i've been good so far. Not drinking enough water, but trying to find some low-no-point snacks. The previous posts have been REALLY helpful!

RyanJ! Where have you been girl?! Glad to have you back. Just wondering, why do you have to cut back from exercise-did you hurt yourself? From what I remember you ran 10 miles a day, right?

I just thought the same thing, but check the posting dates--the last message on this thread that RyanJ posted was in June.  She's still MIA. . .

Thanks! I'm not doing the meetings bc there just isn't one that's convenient for me..near home or work. And I'm in NYC so I was supprised. But, I've been doing it online and on the weekends (only 1 so far) on my palm. so it's been good.

I did an "advanced search" for old posts abt WW and still have a bunch to go thru.
