I am looking for an oversized drapey top with a banded bottom.

I saw Claire from "Six Feet Under" wearing one in purple from last week's episode. I am not sure where hers is from...

I just got one recently that looks exactly like that in purple.  I got it from Old Navy.  Maybe check there?

Yeah, I have the ON one in black, but it is not as off-the-shoulder or drapey as the one I saw on TV. It also was kinda sheer and had a subtle stripey pattern.

Maybe I could get one that is like two sizes bigger than I really wear.

It might look the right way then.

That would probably work.  When I tried 2 sizes bigger than what I really need, it was definitely falling off my shoulder..

I have a couple from Express but they aren't as drapey.  Maybe if you got a size larger it would give you that drapey look.

this is 12th street by cynthia vincent- a couple of colors at scoop nyc but not dark purple- hth at least

Oooh, I love that gray top!

Here is a picture of the Six Feet Under top. Too bad it is cut off halfway through.
It is, of course, banded at the bottom.

I HOPE THIS WORKS!!
