Write down all the nasty things you'd say to him if you could. A coworker and I do that when people are really, really bugging us. It's therapeutic and we end up laughing hysterically!

Oh, it's not even that.  He seriously needs to seek help because of weirdness he's done to me and another girl last fall.

He completely gets on my nerves, every single day.

How about a funny nickname? We call our boss Peterman and have all kinds of names for others around the office that annoy us. One guy's name is Will because he's obviously gay but no one will admit it. Tweedle dumb and Tweedle dumber are another (we always forget which one is dumber). Kujo for this one attorney in our office that always goes balls to the wall on people, regardless of who it is (secretary, copy person, witness on the stand, etc.). It's hard for people to get on your nerves when you're laughing at them all the time.

That said, I know what you mean. Some people are just irksome.

Oddly enough, he abruptly quit last night because he was sure he was going to get fired (this had never been talked about, ever).  He seriously does need to seek counselling; it was even suggested by my dad (his boss).

His perception of reality isn't really there.  For a long story on this dude and my situation with him, read on (it's reeeeeeallly long).  I probably should have put this in my original post, but eh, didn't feel like it at the time.

So, story time:

Okay, so the guy works at my dad’s office.  Seriously, he was born completely devoid of any social skills.  Very timid and beyond weird.  Everytime he would see me, he’d say “hi”, even if he just said “hi” to me 5 seconds earlier.

Last October he asked me out.  I politely declined, saying “I’d say yes, but I’m really busy”.  The “I’d say yes” part  was very wrong of me (You’ll see as this story goes on).  Anyways, after declining, he would still come over to my desk to try and talk to me.  Being weird and all, I never had anything to say to him, because, well, he’s freakin’ weird and I didn’t really want to talk to him.  If I was ever looking anywhere NEAR his direction, he would start trying to talk to me.  He would come up behind me at my desk and stand there until I noticed he was there.  Most of the times I’d have my headphones on so I wouldn’t hear him either.

This kept up for a little bit and I started avoiding him because of the above reasons.  At one point, he came over to me at lunch and apologized for asking me out.  I assumed that this whole him-bothering-me thing was over then.

Not so much.  I had told my brother and the assistant here about all of this, so they were the only people who knew about him asking me out.  Anyways, a couple weeks after his apology, he comes over to me and hands me an envelope with my name typed on the outside.  I’m just going thinking “WTF?!”.  So I wait until he walks away and then I open it.  It’s basically saying that he’s been hearing around the office that I’m calling him a stalker and that he is “NOT” (he capped this word) a stalker and could I please “STOP” calling him a stalker.

My mouth just dropped open because I had never called him a stalker and the 2 people that knew about all of this never talked about this at the office (at least not with doors open).  So now I’m thinking, “Okay freak”.

I sent him an email saying that I had never called him a stalker and that wherever his information came from, it was wrong.  I also said that I had assumed this whole thing was over with after he apologized and that’s what I considered it:  done and over with and that I would not be discussing it any further

Once again, no more contact from him.  Then a couple of weeks after that, he comes over to my desk and goes “Can we talk sometime?”  I’m just thinking, what the f*ck?!  Did I not say I wasn’t discussing this any further??  I told him I never have time, so he just stands there and stares at me for a minute and then walks away.

I emailed him and asked what he wanted and that email was the only way I would be communicating.  He sends me a response that basically says “I just wanted to talk to you and let you know why I asked you out.  It was because I loved you and wanted to marry you.”  My mouth dropped open and I just sat there stunned for a minute.

Let’s just add some facts about how well this guys knows me:  He knows my name, he knows I work at the same place as him, and he knows that I live in the same building as him (I know, freaky).

And he’s telling me that he loved me and wanted to marry me.  SEEK HELP FREAK BOY!

As far as why I want to kill him in my original post, it’s because he still says hi to me all the time and it annoys the hell out of me.  He just walked by and I swear, spoke in Pig Latin, and I gave him total attitude.  I don’t know why he still tries to talk to me.  I ignore him EVERY single time.

Yeah, definitely he needs to get help.  His brother is the one who called into the office today to tell the bosses about quitting and that he wanted his brother to go into counseling.

Weird weird wierd.
