I hate to bother you, but since I have no Anthro in my state I'll have to order this. Could you tell me if it is a dark brown like it appears??

I've seen it- it is browner in real life if i remeber correctly- like a true brown and less purpley brown.  It is slouchy and the material is a really tightly woven fine guage sweater knit- it is pretty nice.  I don't know about fit though- you'd probably be a small?

i agree with lynnie, it is definitely a true brown. I have a small but probably would have taken an X-small if they had them- I am 5'2, have slightly broad shoulders.. from pictures i'd guess that you were a small? but i'd check the size charts to be sure.

I tried this on at Anthro as a potential shrug for my wedding outfit. The knit is really nice, like lynnie said and a true chocolate, like the color of Godiva milk chocolate.

I generally find Tabitha stuff to run large (I wear a 2 in their skirts). I think you'd be able to fit into an XS, but if XS doesn't exist, S would be great. I'm an S in it, am 5' 3" on a good day and generally wear an S in mall store tops (Gap, BR, etc.)

I just want to say that I really think you should get the shrug. You seem to have been thinking about it for awhile, so that shows you really do like it. I have found that with a lot of anthro stuff, i will love it and then like it less and less each time i see it in the store, and got the shrug b/c i just kept wanting it. i NEVER wear brown, it is the only brown thing i own, so that has been a little difficult for me, but from what I have seen, you wear a ton of brown and coordinating colors so it will  be a very versatile piece for you. it is comfortable and unique, too. get it!!!:)

Your Right!! I just ordered it.  The only way for me to decide if it's really worth the money is to get it home and play around with it.  I'll post when I get it.  Thanks for all your help!
