drycleaning and jcrew scattered petals

I did something really stupid this morning. disbelief.gif I put on my deodorant before putting on my scattered petals tank. The deodorant is that Lady Speed Stick Dare to Wear Black. I HATE it!!! It goes on wet and I put on the tank before it dried. I was half asleep and not thinking and I am sick over it. I could cry right now, but I have been highly emotional lately. cry.gifcry.gifcry.gif I went by the dry cleaners and showed it to the lady there to see if it could be spot cleaned. She said that because it was silk it could not be spot cleaned. She did say that the dry cleaning machine should not hurt the petals because even a kleenex would not tear in the machine.   I am just so worried the petals won't look the same.  However, the blouse does say dryclean only.  It is just that I live in a podunk town and have only one drycleaner.  They are very good, but I am just wondering if any of you have had this drycleaned and what the results are?

I don't have this specific top, but I have one very similar that is silk with petals on it and I have dry cleaned it several times with no problems.

Also, I would think it would be fine because J Crew expects you to clean the top at some point in time. I wouldn't think dry cleaning it would ruin it by any means.

Thank you Heatherlynn.  I personally know the drycleaning lady and she knows how freaked out I am about it, so I think they will be especially careful.  I really don't know why I am worrying about this so much, because it is going to have to be cleaned when I wear it.  I think it is PMShmm

ya it will be fine. I've had tops a lot like that dry cleaned, and never once had a problem. (and I tend to have AWFUL luck with drycleaners, awful)
