i love the lavender pants in the new  Vicky's clothes sale catalogue.

Anyone know how the Christie(flare leg), Bridget(straight leg) and Carmen(wide leg) pants fit?

obviously i understand the definitions, but for instance do they fit like the Editor pants? any examples? fit true to size?

any advice? I'm wary to buy them from a catalogue (mostly bc returning is such a waste of time and i KNOW i'll need them shortened)

I just recently asked about this....carmen posted in response saying that she likes the Christie pants and they run true to size.  I don't have a pair of my own yet and haven't quite decided if I will buy them.  Not sure about the straight or wide legs.

I have never tried them, but I would like too.  I am very wary of VS clothing though, because it looks so great in the pictures, but are cheaply made.  I recently came across this comaprison, which seemed very true:

VS is to Express is to Limited just as Old Navy is to Gap is to Banana Republic.

IMO, this rings true except that I like Express pants better than Limited pants (and Limited seems to have less expensive pants).

The fit is very similar to the editor or publicist at express. I believe they are the same company as express and limited. The quality is not top notch but they look nice and if they are on sale definitely worth it. No complaints here. Oh and the sizing is the same as express for me.

Hope you get as much wear from yours as I do mine.

I love the Christie fit and have about 10 pairs. IMO they fit exactly like Editors. As others said, VS/Express are the same company so I personally think they are exactly the same cut.

The 'seasonless stretch' are the most flattering. I don't like the ones w/the cuffed leg as much.

From previous discussions the only complaint I've read on them is that some of the colors are too light and therefore really see-through so becareful when choosing the color you order.
