I've seen several skirts and tops at the Limited lately that I love.  I'm heading shopping tonight and hope things work out (fit!).  My question is there are two skirt and two tops that are brown or have brown in them.  However, they are not a dark chocolate brown.  They are lighter.  So my question is, should I wear my dark chocolate brown open toe heels with them or should I pick up a natural color heel??  I know it's a stupid question, but the only reason I have not gone in sooner to pick these items up is because I'm a little confused what color shoes to wear????  Thanks!!

I'm having the same issue rar210.  I have some pants from Express that are like a peanut brown color and I have no clue what color shoes to wear w/them.  For some reason my chocolate brown ones just don't look right.  Let me know if you figure it out!

I guess if you're strictly thinking about color and not style, I combine light & dark brown all the time. If it helps you could add a dark brown accessory like beads or a belt to match the shoes more.

I think dark brown shoes would work.  I wear my weavers with lighter brown/tan.  Or you could pair a color with them, like light pink Or gold/bronze would look really great too!

Oh gold/bronze is a great suggestion FP!  I actually have bronze shoes..I forgot about that.  Thanks!

Definitely the bronze would be perfect.  You may also wish to try green or turquoise - I've had really good luck with brown & green or brown & turquoise.  FP's suggestion of pink also is beautiful with brown.
