No, i dont own anything of hers but i try to imitate some of her looks. It's so "thrift store" chic. She used to be more affordable but not anymore. Try ebay though.

I've been walking by the as-yet-unopened Built By Wendy store in LA all the time since I work nearby, and it's probably good that the store is not open yet because otherwise I would've died and gone to heaven.

That green leaf jacket has been mocking me ever since I saw it in Lucky (and in the store window...). It would be so perfect with my wardrobe, but sadly must resist temptation to drop $250 on mere suit jacket. Now that white shirt with the floral detail is screaming my name...

I love Built by Wendy. I have a dress and a sweater by her and I think they are good quality. If you live in New York she usually has twice yearly sample sales and she has a weekend sale every weekend in Williamsburg (Brooklyn that is). I find that usually her stuff goes on sale and there usually is a wide range of sizes. I love that leaf jacket too, but I don't think it is worth $250 I am hoping there will be a few at the sample sale.

I have two Built By Wendy tees- one has seahorses on it and one has an exploding mickey on it! I love those things- but I would wait for a sale.

I love that sweater vest shirt! It's so cute! It's a preppy piece that hasn't been overplayed, yet. I'm thinking about getting one similar (I wouldn't be able to shell out the cash for the Wendy one).

Why oh why did I go to her website?..... Now I want everything on there and it's so out of my price range!

But, I think I might consider buying something from her in the fall though, after I'm at a higher checking account level. Her stuff is casual, looks comfy, and best of all, is unique. I get kind of tired of the stuff that's sold everywhere.

I will try to post a picture when I get home from work. It has elastic at the top, but the waist is fitted. I think it probably looks better on someone who isn't as chesty as me, but I don't care I like it anyway.
