Help me pack! I am going to Destin this weekend for my friend's Bachelorette Weekend!
Here is our itenerary:
Thrusday-leave at 5am.....arrive at 11am. Lay out or Shop. Dinner and Drinks in with the girls.
Friday- shower for the bride at 11am (very casual). Lay out or Shop. Bachelorette Party out in Destin
Saturday- lay out, recover.... Dinner out that night.
Sunday- drive home....

I want casual chic....I love trying new combinations on vacation! Any ideas?

I hate you I hate you!!!!

Just kidding, but I used to go on 2 girl trips a summer because we could drive fairly quickly & splitting a room it ended up being an inexpensive trip - now that I'm in Dallas & have to add 8 hr drive (on top of 4-5 hrs) or an airplane ticket it's just too much

Now that I'm done whining - I'll shop around for outfit ideas - do you want to wear what you have(if so, what do you have - capris, denim mini, dresses) or are you going shopping before you go? I know I always liked to wear a sun dress "out" because I was tan & hot (literally) cause we would dance & dance - I LOVE the Famous Door in the SanDestin Resort.

Or something fun & funky like this: I love this girl's mystylediary page - someone else posted it on another thread - I know I'd never wear this at home but would love to - so vacation is the perfect place to try it out!

I just need some inspiration for my own clothes. No time to shop! The only thing I don't ever wear is capri's. The look really silly on me. Any cute combos of reg. stuff that is everyone closet.

jeans
tees
bathing suits
tunics
juicy tube dress
eliza b. flip flops
polos
black shorts----I want something fun for this other than a tunic?
long cotton casual dress
gold flip flops
big belts

all sorts of jewelry...

Any cute combos?

I think this would be a cute black shorts outfit. Surprisingly, I couldnt find any pics of black shorts, so I just used dark denim.




with this top over it. I just love layering tanks. Especially when they're different styles. Like a delicate lacy one like this over a sporty simple one like the one above.






and last but not least, something cute in your hair!

that would be great... as for laying out by the pool i am all about the juicy tube dresses you posted.  i don't care if they are "in" or not... those things are by far the most comfortable cover up ever!


p.s. i was in a lilly pulitzer shop tonight and totally thought of you chic!  pink and green always makes me think of you now!

OK first off I just have to tell you that I think it is so cool and sweet that y'all think of me when you see pink and green! I love the comments!

Fashionlover that is a great outfit for the short! So perfect and I have some stuff that I can work with to make it happen! I also love the touch of something in the hair! Too cute and very "CHIC"!


Laken1- I ran to Marshalls and tried to find a cute dress like that green one, but no luck!

Bex- I have 3 Juicy tube dresses! I love them so much, I may try to get them on sale at the end of summer for my bridesmaids to get ready in!

Jmango- "CHIC" is going to the beach! I love that stuff from Jane Fox! Too cute! I bought a cowboy hat and put some striped grosgrain ribbon around it, to make it more chic-like!

Now I am really wondering what to wear for the Bachelorette Party?

How about a cute denim mini (which I'm sure every gal owns) and I'm recently really liking animal prints. Perhaps an animal print top, and some cute sparkly jewelry.
