Meanwhile, at the MTV awards, everyone was buzzing about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' strange behavior.

"Katie requested a private dressing room, which was in the basement," we're told. "Tom and Katie came roaring up on his motorcycle and disappeared for the whole night into the room with her p.r. guy, a stylist, a hairdresser, a makeup person and six Scientologists, including Tom's sister [and p.r. woman] Lee Anne DeVette. They did not come out except for when they went onstage — did not mingle with anyone in the green room — and then left."

Holmes had to be back at the Regent Beverly Wilshire early the next morning for the "Batman Begins" junket, where she and Cruise "made out in the hallway in front of all the journalists and TV people in between every interview."

"We are talking a public display for hours," said our source. "It was over the top, unnecessary and gross."

Wow, I had no idea how bad it was!  I was watching it with my mouth open, I just couldn't believe what I was seeing.  I definitely don't think it's a publicity stunt after watching that.  I just don't even know what to say about it!

I think Katie's family needs to stage an intervention! I just read the paper and saw a pic of TomKat (apparently that is what they are being dubbed now) making out after the MTV awards. as if the whole world needs more PDA from them.

I just think the whole thing is ridiculous!! I actually saw the Oprah show when it aired and I was blushing with embarrassment for Tom and his outrageous shennanigans!!!  And Katie is nuts!!

Tom and Katie are both behaving like BIG DORKS!  Even though I am embarrassed for them, I think I still really like them both, Scientology and all.  But who better to mock them than Dane Cook, he is so hilarious, I love him!  I meant to look up Dane Cook on the internet, so I am glad someone posted this to remind me, he's an awesome comedian, I am surprised he hasn't had more press.
