Anyone familiar with these cities?  I'm just looking at cities that I may possibly want to live in and the bf could relocate to (eventually).  I'm just curious as to what these cities are like---culture, shopping, beach, cost of living, employment, ect? Thanks.

I've been to both and they are both lovely. They are "sister" cities since they are both old, Southern coastal cities.

I know Charleston has a younger population but not so sure about Savannah. My cousin is in art school in Savannah and likes it alot... they have a thriving art scene if you're interested in that.

Sorry I'm not much help other than telling you they are both pretty.

Savannah is very small, but really great! There are not as many jobs there since it is so small and The Savannah College of Art and Design is the main thing there.

Charleston is great, downtown Charleston is so cute, but very driven by The College of Charleston, so it may be a little young. But then there is Mt. Pleasant which is across the bridge and growing all the time. I think that you would probably like Mt. Pleasant the best b/c the rent isn't as high and more than likely you would be working there vs. downtown.

PM me if you want anymore info. I have friends in both places!
