What are your favorite things at the Supermarket- preferably prepared food or snacks.

1)Edwards Key Lime Pie- it is in the frozen section.  It is FABULOUS if you love key lime pie.

2)Morningstar Chix Patties and corn dogs

3)Annie's white cheddar Mac & Cheese packets- so much better than easy mac but just as easy!

  • Morningstar rocks. I love the buffalo wings and chick patties.
  • Amy's Frozen Burrittos
  • String cheese
  • Cool Whip Free (I inhale this)

I love to cook so most of my snacks are actually homemade. But I love to make crudite dip with frozen chopped spinach and fat free sour cream.

i am already so hungry this afternoon!  this is making me more so.  i like amy's frozen lasagna, amy's lentil soup, bell and evans chicken nuggets, when it's cold i love stouffer's mac and cheese, almost any chips and salsa and hummus, cup o' noodle....takes me back to high school.  on the more healthy side, i always buy yogurt, lately the brown cow brand, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, eggs (i'll make a simple omlette and have it with salad for dinner).

Well, my trips to the market are usually pretty big, but I can name a few of my regulars.

*Chicken Voila (like sfclinevandy).  My daughters eat this probably twice a week when I'm in a rush.  I get the cheddar.  It's frozen grilled chicken, pasta, broccoli, carrots and corn in a cheese sauce.  They love it and it has a lot of veggies.

* Always tons of fresh fruit and veggie (or frozen for busy nights).  I go to Costco for Strawberries, grapes, asparagus, chopped romaine (a HUGE bag for $3.50), apples, etc.

*Yoplait yogurt

*Salmon, chicken, beef, crab legs from Costco

*I HAVE to have GOOD Sourdough bread.

*The soy burgers from Costco (can't remember the name, but they're good)

As you can tell, I do a lot of shopping at Costco.  It's very convenient for me.  I love the quality of their meats and produce.  They have such high standards for a warehouse store.  It's my fave  I usually don't get out of there for less that $200 (and I have to go to the reg. grocery store too), but it's worth it!
