i need an outfit for a concert, but i don't want to look too fashiony or trendy (does that make sense?). plus it's really hot, and i am trying very hard not to buy anything new. any outfit ideas? i'm pretty much open to any (and every) thing.

the music is kind of like a hybrid of reggae, hip-hop, and electronica/world music. it's at s.o.b's downtown on the westside. i'm totally clueless probably b/c i'm thinking too much about what to wear.

How about destroyed jeans, comfy cute flats, and a funky bright-colored top?

I go to 2-3 shows a week and I usually wear some version of the above outfit: denim skirt/jeans/capri with an interesting belt and a tank. But since I'm 5'3" and my BF is 6'4", I *always* wear heals...that way you see the stage better, too. And I usually carry a small shoulder bag that fits close under my arm.

I agree with the others. I normally wear something like this to concerts (as an example)

Then usually a bag that goes across my chest, so I can make sure it's always close to me.
